Operation Bear Hug

At my school we had a fund raiser - Operation Bear Hug that spread to surrounding schools. Its purpose was to collect stuffed animals and send them across to an orphanage in Africa to give the children someone to hug at night. As a Senor Photography student at my school I was chosen to take the picture of our success :] Which meant I got to go up on the school roof which was great.

Our school has about 950 students and we collected 1,500 bears :] also got the word out to surrounding schools and they ended up sending some too : D

So it has been awhile and I'm sorry for the long wait. I have been here and there all summer and the days I was doing nothing... well I wasn't online =3

As you may know I was excepted to Humber for Creative Photography, so recently I have been at the college for orientation and other things. The really cool part is that with the programme I got a new camera, yay! The Nikon D300 is going to be my new best friend for the next while it would appear (you have to rent one if your in the programme) Though I have to read her manual, because the settings are nothing like the D70 and I can't seam to figure them out on my own. D: Along with renting the new camera (which I had to buy a separate battery for because apparently it doesn’t come with one >_>' ) I got a Mac book... *sigh* My family has been PC users since the beginning so this is going to be a change. I don't like the fact that there isn't a right click. >= | It annoys me.

Hmm what else is new? Oh I got a new sweatshirt and bear =3 (Mom got me them from the Humber store.) Oh and my brother gave me FF Dissidia. It's a really fun game Terra is my favourite so far, magic attacks are great!

Oh another resent addiction Maple Story, it's so cute! I like the mage's and the Bowmen, which is weird because normally I like being a close rage user. Other then that Torchwood and Dr. Who have been my two new favourite shows.

I think that’s it for now, enjoy the new photos from Horseshoe Lake, and there is more photos from Lake Kashagawigamog soon to come. (Maybe even tonight if I'm not lazy...)

It's okay I know how school is, and trust me it isn't any easier in college >>' do you have and art or photo classes this semester? I will be dropping in at some point in december before christmas to say hello. I have been so busy I haven't had the time to come back yet = (

I have missed you and our random conversations too!

Yay the end of high school! may not seam like it now but your probably gonna miss AMHS, I know I do. But it is exiting and terrifying to move on to college or into the working word I know you will do great.

Homework sucks, don't I know it. I have 9 courses this semester >>' One of which is english <<' which I suck at. How are your classes?

i did have art...but guidance removed it becuse i already passed art. I was pretty disappointed becuse i wanted to bump up my mark from last year...but, guidance was being mean..
